Searching the JOHNSON/NELSON/SIMS families in the county area. William JOHNSON married Amy NELSON and moved to Peters Creek area around 1795 or 1797. William died in 1805 and is buried on the farm which is now a cornfield on the right side of Peters Creek road before you get to the RR Crossing. This grave is marked by the DAR.
