I am researching my family names of LONG and KYER in Nicholas county.
Even though I have traced and confirmed many. Several are still not confirmed. I am looking for any information on
the John KYER listed in the 1850 Census in Nich. County. I am trying to confirm that this is the father of Elizabeth
KIER(KYER) who married James J. BRYANT in Mar. of 1841. Elizabeth's name also known at Lutillia in many later records. Any help on these names if greatly appreciate.

My maiden name was long I have been working on research a little while. My Parents were Newman sometimes spelled Newmon Ray Long and Marjorie Fast or Underwood. My Dad's father name was Newman/Newmon Everett/Everment Long his wife was Texanna or Anna Long, I believe her maiden name was Lawrence from Virginia.
