Interested in locating burial site of Margaret Frances Dooley McClung; died in 1945. Dodd Funeral Home of Fayetteville at that time recorded that she was buried "behind the store at Fowler's Knob on a knoll." Marked only by flowers. A family member would like to locate this site in order to set a small permanent monument. Margaret's husband, Andrew Tinsley McClung may be buried there as well. No record. Would anyone know of this couple? Thanks and Apprecication for any help.

Update on Mr. and Mrs. Tinsley McClung site
Misleading directions made for a "wide-swath" search. Eventually, I discovered that both are buried where I first thought, although there was no evidence of it; this being what historical society members understood to be the Huffman/Boley/Johnson/McCutcheon/Odell Cemetery, Mt. Nebo, Nicholas County; on the knoll behind the former Mt. Nebo General Store site. It was referred to in Mrs. Tinsley McClung's obituary as the McClung Cemetery, "behind the store at Fowler's Knob." Since their burials, which were marked only by flowers; some earth had been moved, and changes made. I also learned that a much larger piece of geography in the area was at one time called Fowler's Knob than presently supposed; also, several small family stores were in existence. Cemetery research can lead to discovery of a lot of interesting history. ged
