Hi! I'm doing research on John and Margaret Beard Kyle. They were in your area in the early 1800's. John was a farmer and a schoolteacher. Both J and M lived to their 90's, and I have not yet found their definite death dates (1850's-1860's) or their wills or their obituaries. I have reason to believe J and M are buried in the Greenbrier, Nicholas, or Monroe Counties areas. I have visited with Ted Kyle Summersville, in the past; and I have been to Lewisberg searching for clues. J and M had 7 children, among them Charles, my ancestor, who married Catharine Vance.
