I am looking for any VIABLE information on James Harrison WOOD who married Livora McCLUNG on Dec. 24, 1896.
Such as Siblings of James Harrison WOOD?
Such as Parents of James Harrison WOOD?
I do know that one of their daughter's, Lynne A. WOOD married my grandfather, Olva E. HUMPHRIES (aka Olvie). Lynne A. WOOD HUMPHRIES & Olva HUMPHRIES had a total of 10 children, 5 surviving. Lynne & Olva Humphries are buried at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetary, along with their 5 children that did NOT live. Lynne was called Lynnie by her husband, and I've heard LEE WOODS from a few others. She past at only 39 years of age.
The surviving children were split between families for the balance of their childhood. Some of the relatives being Lloyd & Rosa HUMPHRIES & Oscar & Birdie HUMPHRIES.
The children referred to Livora as "Grandma Vorie". If anyone has any information on my gr-grandfather, James Harrison WOOD, would be most appreciated. I have followed the McCLUNG line all the way up to James McCLUNG & Mary ALDERSON McCLUNG.
I've also heard that friends called him "JIM WOOD".
