My child's G-grandfather was Charles Dewitt Callaghan, believed to have been born in Nicholas
County, WV.
We are seeking any and all information regarding this family, as we know virtually nothing other than Charles Dewitt Callaghan's name.
This Charles Dewitt Callaghan had a child in 1932 by Azalea Woodyard in Gilmer County, WV. They were not married. My wife and child are descended from that child born out of wedlock.
Charles Dewitt Callaghan would probably have been born somewhere within the broad range of 1900-1917.
