I am searching for information about the SCOTT family that was listed on the 1870 Nicholas County census. They were: Anderson Scott- Wilderness Township #206; Ballard Scott, Muddlety Township #184; Joseph Scott, Wilderness Township #206; and Richard Scott, Muddlety Township #184. I am trying to find a connection between these people and a James Scott who was born about 1813 in Greenbrier County. Were they, by chance, brothers?
