Seeking information on the families of Deputy Sheriff WILLIAM W. JONES, son of RICHARD and MARGARET WOODS JONES, and married to ELLA NORA TOMLINSON abt 1872. Children were MARTHA ANN JONES married to JAMES ANDREW MCCLUNG, MELISSA B. JONES, WILLIAM H. JONES and WILLARD C. JONES.
WILLIAM W. JONES died at the early age of 43 years on 9 March 1887.
ELLA NORA TOMLINSON was a daughter of the Rev. THOMAS TOMLINSON and CATHERINE FARLEY TOMLINSON of the Olive Baptist Church and a sister to the Rev. THOMAS HENRY TOMLINSON of the Mount (Lookout) Pleasant Baptist Church.
