Am looking for information on JOHN EVERETTE SIMS, married to MARY MATILDA BROCK, lived in Summersville, parents of my grandmother, LEOLA MAUD SIMS,born 7/27/1904, who married Elbert Belcher in Kanawha County. John and Mary had several other children, including Sterling, George, Flora and Lena. I found a JE SIMS listed in the Southern Methodist Church Cemetery records but don't know if it's the one I'm looking for or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I've been unable to find out any information about my grandmother's family.
