Hyman BRANARD, (1910 -
1967), is listed as buried in the Dixon Chapel Cemetery. I am looking for relatives of George A. BRANARD who applied for a Texas Land Grant in Galveston, Texas, in 1838. He married twice in Galveston. Once in 1839 and again in 1841 to Caroline MATHER HURLEY. George and Caroline had 3 children before divorcing in 1849-50. The children were George Albert BRANARD, Ellen BRANARD (married MAIR), and Emily BRANARD (married Henry SCHERFFIUS). I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is related to a BRANARD, or who has information about the Hyman BRANARD who is buried at Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
