My mother was the daughter of Fred BENNETT and Mollie PERRY. The Perry's were from Craigsville and lived just down from the Alderson church. Bessie and Water Perry lived in a little house along the river and I can remember,as a child, visiting there often. I am searching for land records of the Perry family that would probably go back to Sandford Bundy Perry. My mother was left a small piece of land but I don't know by who, and that piece of land ( about 5 acres) was sold to Walter Perry in 1944. If anybody has access to these kinds of records that can do a look up I would really appreciate it.
