Am looking for information on Sarah Brown b.1845 in Nicholas County. Her parents supposedly adopted her. They were Edward Brown and Hannah (Backhouse) Brown. Trying to find out if this is true or not. Found Edward on 1850 census for Nicholas County, but some of the names are hard to read. Could someone please help me out with any more childrens names for this family. Thanks!
