I am seeking information about the parents of Harden SCAGGS who was born in 1831, probably in Virginia (at that time). He and his wife, Mahulda Jane CHRISTIAN, lived in Wayne, WV in 1860 and their children were Isaac, William Eldridge, George Henry, Calafornia, Mary Elizabeth, Allen and Bellyona. In 1830 Census for Nicholas County, Joseph Scaggs, Richard Scaggs, James Scaggs, and James Scaggs, jr were residents. Does anyone know their children? Could one of them be the father of Harden Scaggs?
