Looking for information on the name DORSEY. The DORSEY I am looking for was called J. Porter DORSEY. He married a Martha (Patsy) COCHRAN. Martha's father may have been named James COCHRAN. J. Porter DORSEY was born June 17. 1798 and died Jan 27, 1853. At one time he may have lived in Pocahontas Co., WVA. I believe that's where he married Martha Cochran Oct 27, 1829.
