Trying to find who the parent of Warwick Butcher were. This is the info that I have about him.

Warwick Butcher enlisted in the Confederate Army at Frankfort, VA(now WV) on 3/13/1863 as a private in Company C, 19th Virginia Cavalry, C.S.A. He was captured in Nicholas County, VA(now WV) on 7/29/63 and was taken to Atheneum Prison as a P.O.W. where he arrived on 9/13/63. Upon arrival he was described as age 44, 5'10" tall, with dark hair and whiskers and blue eyes. His occupation was listed as blacksmith and his residence as Nicholas County. On 9/17/63 he was transferred to Camp Chase at Columbus, OH. On 1/14/64 he was again transferred to Rock Island Prison, Rock Island, Illinois, where he died of tuberculosis on 12/3/64. He was buried in grave #1637 in the Rock Island Prison Cemetery.

Sincerely yours,
