| Butcher Cemetery
Located at Dille, Clay County, W.Va.

The Butcher Cemetery is located off the main road between Dille and Widen in Clay County, West Virginia. Just as you start up what is called Bumtown Hill, you turn left across the Dilly Run (creek) and it is some 1 & 1/2 miles on a dirt road. (The road actually crosses back into Nicholas County.) The road is bad but the cemetery is kept up well. This location and the below information is provided by Lola Butcher Given.

Daughter of Isaac Dilley-wife of Warwick Butcher who is buried in Illinois where he died as a union prisoner. Dille was named for this family as they had a grist mill on a branch creek there now named Dilley Run.
